- mountain safety (approach and descents, mountain weather, equipment, problem solving and self-rescues)
This advanced course is designed for lead climbers who feel ready to take that next step in their climbing career and want to venture onto longer, more mountainous multi-pitch routes or sea-cliffs. We will keep this course as flexible as possible and, as always, adapt it to your level of experience and personal preferences. Whilst of course your safety is our highest priority, we aim to get as much climbing done as possible, hopefully getting on some amazing classic longer routes!
This course takes place in Snowdonia because it lends itself perfectly for the content of the course. You will need to arrange your own transport and accommodation in Snowdonia. However, for those who do not wish to venture over to North Wales, we can cover the course content using the bigger crags in the Peak District at a reduced rate.
Our instructors have many years of experience climbing in the Snowdonia National Park and will guide you around the most suitable crags in our usual safe, friendly and supportive manner.
This course is suited to: anyone who is a competent lead climber; anyone who has completed our Leader Skills Course.
